Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. announced on October 10 that the company's annual production of 200,000 tons of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) combined with 132,000 tons of ethylene glycol project has been successfully started, which is the largest single unit capacity in the world.

Recently, Hualu-Hengsheng ,Dimethyl carbonate, amide and nylon new materials project (300,000 tons/year) caprolactam and supporting devices were completed and put into operation in only 12 months and 19 months respectively.
