Introduction of acetonitrile

Acetonitrile is a pharmaceutical (vitamin B1), fragrance intermediate, is difficult to degrade toxic chemicals, absorption to theAcetonitrile manufacturers - Yuanfarchemical human body can be inhaled, ingested, absorbed through the skin.Acute acetonitrile poisoning occurs slowly, with an incubation period of several hours. The main symptoms are weakness, pale face, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea, chest distress and chest pain. Severe respiratory and circulatory system disorders, and even lead to paroxysmal convulsions and coma.

Acetonitrile is mainly used as a solvent. Such as the extraction of butadiene solvent, synthetic fiber solvent and some special coatings solvent. A solvent used in the petroleum industry to remove tar, phenol, etc., from petroleum hydrocarbons. It can be used as solvent to extract fatty acid from driven vegetable oil in oil industry and as reaction medium for recrystallization of steroid drugs in medicine. Acetonitrile will be used in the above industrial production, while the discharge of industrial wastewater containing acetonitrile, high concentration, high toxicity, serious pollution to water bodies.  

Industrial wastewater containing acetonitrile is a high-concentration toxic organic industrial wastewater, which requires harmless pretreatment before it can enter the next-level process or meet discharge standards.

The industrial wastewater containing acetonitrile is highly toxic organic industrial wastewater, which needs to be treated innocently before entering the next step or reaching the discharge standard.  

Acetonitrile wastewater treatment methods:

Acetonitrile wastewater treatment methods mainly include distillation, adsorption, extraction, combustion, hydrolysis and chemical oxidation (including catalytic oxidation) and biochemical treatment methods. Xinweipeng et al use Fenton reagent to treat medical industrial wastewater containing acetonitrile, and the COD removal rate of wastewater can reach 30 ~ 60%, while precipitation will occur. For acetonitrile wastewater with high concentration, it is difficult to reach the discharge standard below 2mg/L due to chemical reaction in aqueous medium. Chemical oxidation treatment, low removal rate, high operating costs, and will produce precipitation and other solid waste.  

Biological treatment methods, usually using aerobic treatment of organonitrile compounds, organonitrile compounds have high toxicity, aerobic biological processes are usually limited; Aerobic treatment requires aeration. Because of the high volatility of organonitrile compounds, aeration accelerates the stripping of acetonitrile into the atmosphere. The traditional electrolysis of organic sewage treatment equipment is usually equipped with lower aeration device, through the aeration to speed up the flow of water, water is tumbling, easy to make volatile organic matter into the atmosphere, and this method of electrolysis efficiency is low, high energy consumption, it is difficult to achieve industrial use.
